Upon arrival, our technicians will asses the situation to determine wither to clean the fireplace chimney from the top or the bottom. They will then set up the equipment and tarps or drop cloths making sure to protect all furniture and other objects surrounding the fireplace. Next they will insert a steel or fiberglass brush, attached to long fiberglass poles. The flue is scrubbed until all soot and creosote build-up is removed from the chimney liner or flue tiles. Afterwards, they will open up the damper and vacuum all the debris that has fallen behind the damper which is called your smoke shelf.We will then vacuum all the ashes out of the fireplace and make sure fireplace and surrounding area is left neat and clean.
